Bonner is a director and member of the loan committee of The Right Bank for Texas, NA. He serves as Director of First Continental Mortgage, Ltd. He was a Director of Independence Bank, N.A. prior to its sale in May 2002. Bonner served as Senior Vice President of Farm & Home Savings Association from October 1989 until it merged with Roosevelt Financial Group in June 1994. His responsibilities included management of the real estate development portfolio, residential lot development lending operations, commercial real estate lending department and the non-performing real estate portfolios. In these capacities he developed and sold from Farm & Home's non-performing land portfolio in excess of 1,350 lots in Texas and Missouri and financed the acquisition and development of over 3,650 other lots in Texas. Bonner was instrumental in developing the residential construction lending operations for Farm and Home Savings. From 1985 to 1989 he served as Vice President of First Continental Real Estate Investment Trust where he was actively involved in commercial real estate lending, marketing and management. Prior to his service with First Continental Real Estate Investment Trust, he served two years in real estate lending with a savings and loan and two years in multi-family development.
