In addition to his responsibilities at First Continental, Arnold is engaged in managing his personal investments. He has previously served as Chairman, President and Director of Farm & Home Savings Association, as Chairman, President and Director of First City Bancorporation of Texas, Inc., and on the Boards of several public companies. Currently he serves as Chairman of U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc.

Arnold spent the first thirty years of his professional life with the Houston law firm of Vinson & Elkins where his practice was predominately real estate oriented.
